I am trying to contact Steph Whateley (nee Poole). I saw an S Whateley teaching at the Baptist school. If this is my old school friend from Parkstone Grammar 1962-68please can you pass on my details. If this is not the right person perhaps you could let me know? Many thanks Mary

What's wrong with the churches in Fleckney? I've heard that the local baptist church's minister is leaving. How many ministers have come and gone at that church? From what I've heard one of the other churches at the village hall forced out their own minister!
I thought that churches were supposed to be places of love but it seems all they do is fight, gossip and hurt each other.
If i was religious i would not go to a church in fleckney!

just read the message below and i totally agree with everything u said steven! Especially the bit where u said u heard one of the local churches force out there minister and it is true! And the name of the church is New Life Christian Fellowship and the minister they force out happens to be Paul lanning's old man.

Fleckney is a beautiful place to live. In the summertime it is great and it's one of those moments that I appreciated living in Fleckney.
Unfortunately Fleckney (sorry it has to be said) is not an easy place to live in. That fact is, if you are not born and raised in Fleckney or in other words if your face does not fit, you are not accepted!
Fleckney is not very welcoming to new people living in the village.
The kids are also a big problem there, trouble is there is nothing for them to do there (not that it excuses the trouble they cause).
I also heard that one of the local churches forced out their minister, that really is disgusting and is indeed hardly the expression of christian love.
Don't get me wrong there are people in Fleckney who are lovely people.

hello. i have lived in fleckney for a number of years, on the one hand it is nice knowing lots of people and having a community feel to the place. on the other hand, it is not so nice when people are always sticking their noses in where it is not wanted.
there are of course the local "idiots" who think they rule the place, big fish in a little pond. a place where everyone complains about the youth, but can never seem to be bothered to provide them with something to do.
do not get me wrong, in the summertime fleckney is a beautiful place, and i understand that you can not tar everyone with the same brush, but when so many people act in such a small minded fashion, its hard not to.
i also heard that one of the local churches forced out their own minister, hardly the expression of christian love now is it?
